I’ve been working for TransPerfect Translations Beijing Office as a translator for two years. It is one thing to study translation theory in university， but another to put theory into practice. As I work on translation， I was shocked by my limited knowledge and insufficient practice. Thus， I would like to continue my study in this area.

Generally， I’m a hardworking person with a strong sense of responsibility. I like challenges in my life and I would try my best to overcome the difficulties that I may encounter in future. I will concentrate on my study and make great efforts to learn as much as possible so as to make contributions in my domain. In my spare time， I like playing tennis， attending yoga classes and traveling to various places， which greatly widen my social network and enrich experiences of my extracurricular life.

I’m ___, born in __. I am a teacher of College of Information Science and Engineering, Shandong University of Science and Technology. I entered this university in 1997, majoring in Computer science and technology. After graduation in 20_, I BECame a postgraduate student, and majored in Computer software and theory, supervised by Professor ___. I receivd the master’s deGREe and BECame a teacher in 20_.

Since I was a postgraduate student, I have been interested in scientific research. In the past few years, I published more than 10 papers about the high performance computing, the theory and application of Petri nets, and design and analysis of algorithm. Furthermore, I am participating in the research of two projects funded by National Natural Science Foundation. At the same time, I undertake lots of teaching loads, more than 400 periods each year.

However, with the time going on, the more I studied and experienced, the clearer I realized that I really need study further. Thus, I began to prepare for the doctor‘s entrance examination last year. I graduated from this university last year， and major in computer science， I liked computer very much， especially in multimedia technology， and wanted to make some achievement in this field， but when I finished my school， I realized that what I had learned was not enough for this target， I thought it would be great if I can continue my interest in that， so that was why I choose to further my study with a master degree.

Well， in my spare time， I like soccer， pop music， and stamp， being a soccer fan， I always show my love to Manchester United and Ryan Giggs is my favorite. I also like English very much， and had passed Band six this year， but I do think its still a long way to study it， so I wouldnt give up my English studying， and improve my oral and listening ability.
