It is a common phenomenon that students have to take oral English test during college. Some people think that it is necessary for them to have oral test so that they can have a certification to prove themselves. But for some people, they believe that we shouldn't have oral test for it is a waste of time. For me, I think spoke English test is a necessary for students. Reasons are listed below.
通常来说，学生在大学期间必须参加英语口语测试。一些人认为口语考试很重要，因为他们可以得到一个证书来证明自己的口语能力。但是对于一些人来说，却认为口语考试很浪费时间。就我看来，口语考试对学生很重要。原因如下：
Firstly, oral English test can help students to improve their oral ability. If we don’t have oral test, then 90% of students wouldn't force themselves to practice spoken English. But if we have such kind of oral test, then students must spare some time to practicing oral English. By this way, they can improve their language ability a lot.
第一，口语测试能够提高学生的口语能力。如果没有口语测试，那么90%的学生不会要求自己来联系口语。但如果我们有这个测试的话，那么学生会分出时间来练习口语的。通过这种方式，学生能够提高自己的口语能力。
Secondly, oral English encourage students’ ability to communicate with foreign people. For most Chinese students, they have little chance to talk with people from abroad. Quite often, most students can just read and write English language, but lack the ability to speak. If oral test is a necessary, then students would like to chat with their friend everyday, gradually, their oral skills will be strengthened. If they meet foreign people, they can speak English fluently and know how to communicate with foreigners.
第二，口语测试能够提高学生和外国人交流的能力。对于很多中国的学生来说，都没有机会直接和外国人交流。通常，很多学生只能读写英文，但是不能说英语。如果有英语口语测试的话，那么他们会与自己的朋友每天练习英语，渐渐地，他们的口语技能会提高。如果他们见到外国人，不仅能很流利地说出英语，而且也知道改怎么和外国人交流。
All in all, oral English test is good for students to improve their oral skills so we should support oral English test.
总之，口语测试有助于改善学生的口语技能，所以我们应该支持口语测试。
