Is not what it loves.

Ran away thru the window
With help of the moon
我诗刚写好

Entered my red dream last night
And became a sea.

The snowflakes madly danced
In the vast sea of my heart
And then formed icebergs.

Sunshine changed rain drops
Into pearls and strung them as

I picked down the moon
From the night sky and hid it
Deeply in my poem.

The twinkling stars scatter
In the fresh grass and became
Countless bright fireflies
闪闪的星星
散落草丛中变成
无数萤火虫

The vast sea asks the
Yellow bleak desert whether it is
Thirsty all year round.
大海问荒凉
黄色的沙漠是否
常年渴得慌

The west envies the
East ‘cause the red sun rises there
Without exception.
西方对东方
眼热因那里总是

Clock jumped down from the
Wall he said he was too tired
To serve me again.
挂钟从墙上
跳下说太累无法

Having a sweet dream with the
Kind earth peacefully.

Weeping ‘cause they lost the way
To enter my poems.
有一组文字
在哭泣只因迷路

The rose scolded me at once:
Never ever touch me!
我把手伸过。

I’m humming a tune.
But the sparrow says the tune
Was stolen from her.

麻雀说都是我从

My eyes can give out light
I can still read books
突然就停电

It carves deep rivers and high
Mountains in my faces.

Out of the deep misfortune
Comes bliss at the end.

祸到极点福会来
谁说这不对
即：乐极生悲，否极泰来。

A heart will become a sea
Of vicious water.
若为恨浸泡
人心变成一片海
恶水逐浪高

If moistened by love,
A heart will become a sea
Of gracious water.
若为爱滋润
人心变成海一片
善水万丈深

Give love you and I
The world will be turned into
A beautiful land.
你我把爱献
这世界就能变成
美好的人间
即：只要人人献上一点爱，世界就会变成美好的人间。

Fire burns very high,
When everybody adds
A little piece of wood.
每个人如果
都添加一点木柴
火焰高得多
即：众人拾柴火焰高。

To be modest helps
A person to make progress
Forward on the road.
谦虚能帮助
人们在前进道路
上取得进步
即：谦虚使人进步。

To be cocky makes
A person come to nothing
On the forward march.
骄傲能使人
在前进的道路上
成功丧失尽
即：骄傲使人落后。

If work hard enough,
You can grind an iron rod
Into a small needle.
(namely perseverance spells success.)
如果肯用心
你能把铁棒磨成
小小一根针
即：只要功夫深，铁杵磨成针。

A distant
Journey can test strength
Of a horse.
A long task
Proves the character
Of a man.
远行可
检验一匹马
力几何
任务久
能证明人性
无保留
即：路遥知马力，日久见人心
