《The sorrows of young Werther(少年维特之烦恼)(英文版)》读后感_100字

《The sorrows of young Werther(少年维特之烦恼)(英文版)》读后感100字

Wilhelm Werther Charlotte Albert

  • Goethe, in the book The sorrows of young Werther describes a well-bred and educated young man Werther, falling in love with an already-engaged woman Charlotte. The author relates it in a form of correspondences. However, due to the fact Werther is died for his unalterable love, the late part of the book is compiled in the authors information collected based on Werthers remained letters. (Summary)

I guess I can never love someone deep enough to that of Werthers. Imagine that, all his life centered on Charlotte, while she did not belong to him. (She could probably love him, but she could not perceptibly admit it.) Its pathetic to witness a love of that. But more and most importantly, its lucky, of felicity to behold a love to such a extent. To love is to experience, to lose, to be anxious. Love pains you, but a life without love is not whole. How could Werther be our Werther if did not meet Charlotte? And how could we share his sorrows without burdened by his unattainable love?

He, that pursues his true love, real dream is a hero in probably almost everyones light. When we peruse Werthers correspondences with Wilhelm, we all join him with his bless to be near Charlotte and his apprehension when separated from her. He left for both her and himselfs benefit, but in the sordid world, he can not remain a minute longer. So he was back, to the embrace of Charlotte. Theres was no doubt that Charlotte would decline him for being married to a faithful, kind and generous husband proved through time. And what left to Werther was only departure, the eternal leave. So he committed a suicide, in a way Albert hated so much. I think it symbolizes that Werther, in a certain sense, hated Albert as well as was envious of him. He once entertained a conception of sudden death to Albert. But his involvement between the three, was too much for each of them, so the perfect way to consecrate this long-standing love was an end of life.

  • He have loved and will always love her.

And she remembered him and will always remember him.

  • The linden-trees, the stamped road, have been their witnesses and will always be.
