The content of this bilingual book is fabulous, I really mean it.
But as for me, I do enjoy reading English because its original and authentic. Besides, reading English is a joyful and rewarding process because of the wonderful language.
People assumethat Nick who is born without arms and legs will live a miserable life without hope and happiness, no mention the quality of his life.
However, he has surpassed himself physically and emotionally to be a inspirational speaker to encourage all of us.
God knows how much pain he hasexperienced!He is a fighter!
He has great parents and siblings who love him so much. He is determined to achieve his goals and getout of his comfort zone. He dares to try something new and face various challenges. He has his faith in God, and believes that God has a purpose in him. He spares no efforts to spread his belief and stories, which has inspired millions of people.
While I am reading, I am searching his vedios and watching them carefully on the internet. Even though Ive seen some of those before , I am still shocked by his optimism, hope, faith, resilience and perseverance. He walks the talk to spread his ideas and spirit, and tell you nothing is impossible.
It seems that his mature is beyond his age. He knows the meaning of life far more than most of us.
What impresses me most is the following aspects:
1. The if I just had x , I would be x is a mass delution. Instant gratification goes away quickly and mere objects fail to meet our requirements. Look around, look within.
2. Life is full of ups and downs, and its natural for us to feel blue. We should accept our negative emotions and transform them into positive ones, such as helping others.
3. Find and make fun in life, in every corner. Be ridiculous. Enjoy the moment like a child.
4. We dont necessarily need to believe in God, but weve got to haveour faith and hope. As a person who has no religious belief, I suppose its important to set up right principles to view the world.
5. Obstacles and setbacks are double edged swords. If we make our mind to overcome them, our life will begin a new chapter. Otherwise, if we surrender and give up fighting, our life will be in the cloud of darkness.
Nick is a role model for all human beings. By reading this book, Im firmly convinced that everyone has a potential to live his life to fullest.
