1.态度要谦虚
每一位参加复试的考生都期待自己就是导师想要的人才，而人才不仅要具备过硬的专业素质、能力，更要具有良好的个人品质。因此，当我们作为考生面对导师，我们未来的老师时，更应当态度谦虚。谦虚的态度落实在语言上，就要求谨慎措辞，字里行间体现我们谦虚的态度。
2.自夸要有力
在短短几分钟的自我介绍中，要想充分的展现自我，说服导师录取我，需要一定的技巧，这里介绍几种。
当我们展现自身优势时，仅仅使用概括性的语句，力度不足，举些实例更能生动形象地再现我们的能力、特质。同时，在实际例子中，我们可以把所取得的成绩具体量化，效果更好。当然，除了实例，评价也是自夸的手段之一，而自己的主观评价可信度不强，相反他人的评价更为客观、可信，大家可以适当引用他人评价。
3.重点要突出
自我介绍的内容应当有所侧重，着重介绍与所报考专业相关的能力、素质，展现自己与专业的匹配度。当然，如果工作经历比较丰富，可以选取比较有代表性的经历即可，且这些内容尽量与所报考的专业相关。
4.内容要真实
